I think alot of kids would make up of their own language while growing up. And I was one of them. Of coz, I always talked to my split self, and later on, to my imaginery crowd where I would give a speech. haha, I dont think I told anyone before, maybe my roomate Ellie in Melb (?) However, I got more into it when I was in high school or University (dont recall when). I think I really had a notebook jotting down the dawnish sound/word/meaning!!!
Of coz, I got bored by it after a while as it's indeed not an easy task to create my own dawniqustic dialect, even though I so wanted to be the best scholar in my own language (as earthly literature is way too diffcult for me).
Anyhow, this kinda "creating a language" is still imprinted deeply in me, so those who have talked to me more, know that I always come up with english-but-not-english words!! And I want to further develop in it, so I will make a point to create a word/a phrase every week.
You may yell - SCHIZO! Honestly, I always think I am borderline ONE.
OK, today, Dawnism/Dawnish/Dawniqustic which are pretty much self-explanatory and not funny. Stay tune for next week. :D
so u actually created ur own vocab and language? rather than just random gibberish?
ReplyDeletewow cool!! that's pretty advanced!!
now that u mention talking to urself, i remember for years since i was very young, i always did a lot of "acting" when i was taking a shower. i would make up a script and read out the lines like i was in a movie or something... :S
