I always want to tell people, it may not be that day, but who cares?! Kinda signify the "end time" or "renewal time"! I re-watch the documentary of 2012. I wont dwell much on that yet today, but I believe somehow near somewhere around that time, our modern world may be affected by....possibly solar flares?! Anyways, somewhere I read that there would be times of darkness, so basically - it means things such as electricty, telecommunication (satalite of coz all fire-up la) - would be gone. Dont even think too much about towngas, my friend. Everything even the town gas , water providers provide utlity by electricity.
My suggestion of preparation, even so jokingly said, still may not be uesless:
1. GET stock up on candels. Ie what I am doing, but mainly nicely scented ones. I am stocking one bit by bit and I encourage people giving me presents of candels too. Think about it, if they have nice smells, even lo and behold this thing is a hoax, you still can make good use of the nice smell.
2. Can food and can opener. Forget about cup noodles or instant noodles. U dont have fire, how to open a fire to boil some water! Unless you have the independant gas cooker with many spare gas cans. That may not be a bad idea. Let me invest one some day. It's good for hotpot anyways!
3. Water. Alot of Water. or just wine bottles. Forget about beers, they taste horrible if they are not chilled. Remember, you wont have a fridge when you got no electricity!
4. Try to move to a house or lower level apartment. No electricity means no elevator.
5. Buy a dove and train it. So they can deliver your msg to your family & frenz. No mobile commincation, forget about texting!
Then of coz, some of us already have dates on that night to party outside, together with our dogs!!!!! Feel Free to Come Along. Venue, TBC.
